Thomas J. Heidenreich, DDS

photo of Dr. HeidenreichDr. Thomas Heidenreich is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He was born and raised in Odebolt, IA. He completed his undergraduate coursework and earned a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University Of Iowa College Of Dentistry in 2011. Upon graduation, Dr. Heidenreich joined the U.S. Air Force and completed an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program at David Grant Medical Center located at Travis AFB, CA, in June of 2017.

His most recent assignment was Scott AFB, IL, where he served as Chief of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department, leading the squadron in the management of maxillofacial conditions, medical emergencies, anesthesia services, and resident surgical training. Part of his time was spent teaching medical residents at St. Louis University Hospital and dental students at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. He spent 10 years as an active duty member and was honorably discharged in July of 2021.

Dr. Heidenreich joined Centrasota Oral Surgeons in 2021 and is proud to practice in a multi-doctor group renowned for providing excellent patient care. Dr. Heidenreich has extensive training and experience in all areas of oral and maxillofacial surgery including outpatient anesthesia, dental implants, wisdom/impacted tooth removal, bone and soft tissue grafting, facial trauma, and surgical orthodontic/orthognathic surgery. He is currently a member of Minnesota Dental Association, American Dental Association, Minnesota Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

In his free time, Dr. Heidenreich and his wife, Megan, stay busy with their three young children. Their interests include outdoor activities, travel, and serving the local community.
