Michael J. Schiff, DDS

Photo of Dr. SchiffDr. Michael Schiff was born and raised in Rugby, North Dakota. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology with summa cum laude honors from Minnesota State University, Moorhead. He went on to receive a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2010. Upon graduation, Dr. Schiff was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a dental honor society, for academic achievement. Dr. Schiff completed an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program at Christiana Care Health Systems in Wilmington, Delaware, in June of 2014.

As chief resident at Christiana Care, Dr. Schiff’s research paper, Myositis Ossificans of the Temporalis Muscle: A Case Report and Review of the Literature was published in the Journal of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and he was selected to present his research at the annual American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (AAOMS) meeting in Orlando, Florida.

Dr. Schiff joined Centrasota Oral Surgeons in 2014. He is proud to practice with a group renowned for providing the highest quality, patient-centered oral surgery experience. Dr. Schiff has extensive training and experience in all areas of oral and maxillofacial surgery including outpatient anesthesia, dental implants, wisdom/impacted tooth removal, bone and soft tissue grafting, facial trauma, and surgical orthodontic/orthognathic surgery. He is currently a member of Minnesota Dental Association, American Dental Association, Minnesota Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Dr. Schiff and his wife, Allie, currently reside in Sartell. They are the very proud parents of three children. The Schiff’s love being home in the Midwest where they enjoy the lifestyle and wonderful people of central Minnesota. Dr. Schiff’s interests include cycling, fishing, hiking, camping, and most other outdoors activities.
