Welcome to Centrasota Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons

Founded in 1958, Centrasota Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons has served the greater Central Minnesota region consistently offering the latest, most advanced care for patients of all ages. We have grown to a practice of five board-certified surgeons with five locations including St. Cloud, Alexandria, Hutchinson, Monticello, and Princeton.

What is Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery?

Oral and maxillofacial surgery is used to correct a wide spectrum of diseases, injuries and defects in the head, neck, face, jaws, teeth, and the hard and soft tissues of the oral and maxillofacial regions. The term "oral" refers to the mouth, and the term "maxillofacial" pertains to the jaws and facial area.

A doctor practicing oral and maxillofacial surgery first completes a four-year dental degree program and then enters a hospital-based residency program for four to seven years of additional specialty training with rotations in anesthesia, internal medicine, general surgery, neurosurgery, and oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Our highly skilled surgeons practice the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from wisdom tooth removal and corrective jaw surgery to oral reconstruction and oral pathology. Our surgeons can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries and TMJ disorders, and perform a full range of dental implant and bone grafting procedures.
